Storing Pictures on a mini SD cardThis is a featured page

To save space on your device, the MDA can automatically store pictures taken with the camera to a Mini SD card. The steps below outline how to configure the MDA to automatically save those pictures to the storage card.


  1. On the device go to Start > Programs > Camera OR press the Camera key on the side of the device
  2. Tap the utility (wrench and screwdriver) icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen
  3. Tap Tools
  4. Select Options
  5. Tap the General tab
  6. Select Storage Card from the Save to: drop-down menu

Note: This will not move existing pictures on the device to the storage card.

I save a ton of photos from different computers onto one SD card. I gave this to my parents for their digital picture frame. The frame now plays the photo in the sequence they were save on the card. I'd like to have the frame play random photos. The frame does not have a random mode. How can I rearrange the photos.

I've tried clicking and dragging the photos while viewing the cards contents, but this has not worked? any help??

I have a SD card adapter for my mini SD card, and a SD card reader in my laptop PC, but when I insert the card and try to access it, my PC promts me to format the card.
- is there a way to copy files directly from the card to my PC (not using Active sync)?
