Would you like your calendar to automatically start in Month View rather than Day? This is an option and can be accomplished using the following steps:
- Connect your device to your PC.
- If using Activesync,Activesync, select Explore, if using Windows Mobile Device Center select File Management>Browse the contents of your device.
- Open your Windows folder.
- Locate the "Calendar" file (it's a shortcut, but doesn't show the ".lnk" extension)
- Drag the file to your desktop (turn on viewing of hidden files if you don't have it on already)
- Change the properties of the file to turn off the Read-Only flag.
- Open the file in Notepad. The contents should look something like this:
- 21#:MSCALENDAR?:calendarapp
- Change the contents to read:
- 21#"\Windows\poutlook.exe" calendar -vm?:calendarapp
- Save the file and copy back to your phone.
You may also want to update the shortcut under "\Windows\Start Menu".
