Sprite Backup Utility The Sprite Back Up Utility version 5.1.0.(Build 1449) is included in the Windows Mobile 6 build for the AT&T Tilt . The Sprite Back Up utility allows the customer to back up the entire device, not just the PIM’s as seen with Activesync and Windows Mobile Device Center. The back up file can be saved to the device or storage card for later retrieval. Note: It is recommended that the back up file be stored somewhere other than the device so it is not lost during a Hard Reset/Cold Boot. Also, if you have Storage Card Encryption enabled, you will need to disable it prior to using Sprite Back Up. See Storage Card Encryption.
There are 2 modes for the Sprite Backup Utility:
Basic Mode: The utility is set to Basic Mode by default. The only options in this mode are Backup Now and Restore Now.
Advanced Mode: This Mode allows the user to select what is going to be backed up (user can select folders).
