Since I installed the new firmware, my phone frequently says "Missed Call" and hangs up on the caller even when I explicly hit the answer button. This occurs about once out of every five calls (I've tested this statistic by repeatedly calling myself from another phone). I wouldn't be surprised if this had something to do with the T9 problems, indicating some keyboard problem in general.

My phone is saying simlock, and i can not rememer that old password how do i over write the old one now please help.

I keep trying to upgrade my HTC 621 with the upgrade provided off of the HTC website. I keep getting a connection error and it stops the upgrade at 3%. Not sure what is going on. I have the power management settings adjusted so the phone and screen will stay on at all time. Are there any particular things I should do to the pc I am loading the software from? Really want to try this update, but keep running into the same wall.

with key pad locked 4 keys are still active when removing phone from case ingnore button is pushed and call goes to VM ?

Any word on if HTC/Cingular will provide an update to Windows Mobile 6? It sounds like T-Mobile is providing this to some customers, but I'm not sure to which HTC devices.

Since upgrading my Cingular 2125 with the new software release I have experienced the T9 problem such that I don't use text messaging so often on the phone anymore. I have alse seen higher frequency of missed calls - going directly to voicemail. Maybe the best fix is to offer Windows Mobile 6 for the 2125. If there is no fix in the next month, I am going to switch to a non-HTC phone. Maybe BlackJack or Treo 750.
Any HTC staffers ever monitor this forum???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? |

I purchased this phone and went with Cingular because I was working at Microsoft and couldn't get a signal in the building with my T-Mobile phone. This is the worst cellphone I've ever owned. From the pulling the phone out of your pocket and hanging up on someone or sending them to vm or the zero alarm features I was just fed up beyond belief not to mention the unintuive saving of contacts to SIM. There are times when this phone doesn't even ring either. When it's on silent the alarm isn't audible either. I bought another Sony Ericcson and went back to T-Mobile from being with cingular. I could go on, but this phone just made me plain ANGRY! My Ericcson is rock solid and doesn't require reboots every day like this phone did. Now I wake up on time and have no problem with normal phone operations. I met a girl who works for Windows Mobile and she told me that most of the hardware is garbage....

My power button is not flush. The update works nearly flawlessy, though T9 is worthless.

Will anyone from HTC read these pages??! T9 is so bad! We need a firmware update yesterday!! Also having problems with the phone locking during a call, making ending the call a process of unlocking it first and then pressing "End."

I don't use T-9 but the conventional abc texting method and this latest ROM upgrade with AKU2 breaks it completely. I used to be able to text real fast with the previous ROM but now the phone has a mind of its own and just puts in random characters and you have to constantly correct it. I know this has been talked over at Modaco but when is HTC going to fix it?

I hope someone will address the "broken" T-9 issue soon, the messaging feature has been rendered practically useless, ufff!!!
