Picture orientation on 6800 |

Camera Picture – When you take a picture, keeping the phone in horizontal position, the resulting image appears rotated. To get the picture like you take it, you need to hold it vertical. This is different from all the other traditional cameras and 6700. I would like the camera to behave like 6700. Any ideas? To exactly see, what Im talking about, please take pictures on 6700 and 6800, you'll notice the difference.

I have noticed that myself. I just take the picture as is and rotate it manually. You do that by opening the pictures in the viewer and select edit. There you will find the option to rotate. It's tedious, but it (the phone) is not intended to be your primary camera.

I sync my 6800 using my home workstation. Now I noticed my Outlook Express Email Contacts have been replaced with Mogul phone contacts. I have lost my email contact list. Has this happened to anyone and if so does anyone know how to recover email addresses???

Sorry to hear that. It's been awhile since i've used a WM phone but there should be a setting that tells the phone not to override any info on your PC from your phone. In terms of recovering the contacts, if you exported your contacts, you can easily import them back.

I purchased the HTC Touch from Telus. BIG PROBLEM with MEMORY LEAK, power/standby key useless, will freeze and have to take out the battery and insert it again, in order to function again.
BUT what really succks the most is that i called HTC and CANNOT do anything, instead they are passing it along Microsoft!! I went to Telus, they replaced it with a new one....and guess what!!! the new one has the same problem!!

Are you guys loading the phone with apps? I know previous HTC phones suffered when too many apps were loaded into the Phone's memory. And none of them offer enough memory too keep things running smoothly. You could also try some memory management programs.

I've been in the market for an HTC S730, but unfortunately the only version currently available is a European version. (Non 3G Comptible in the US). I just found out that there is a US version of the HTC S730 soon to be released .. supposedly the release date is in February '08 but yet to be seen. If anyone out there has any further info, it would be appreciated if you could pass along the details.

Hi.
Yr 2003 bmw pro. used an older version of the BT implementation. Echeck yr. user manual for specifications.
I would guess it's using V 1.1 or 1.2. V1.2 should work okay with yr HTC phone, but I am not sure about v.1.1.
Pls check with your car dealer.....Chenga
