Is it possible to upgrade this phone from Windows Mobile 5.0 to 6.0 or 6.1? If so, where do I get the download?
Thanks!

Hi,
I can see my existing individual messages (brought in on my SIM card from my retiring phone), but when I want to view all text messages (messages | "all messages") I get a warning "SIM card full. The SIM card is full. You must remove some messages from your SIM card to receive incoming messages." I want to keep my messages. The user manual says to tap "Copy to phone" (p.103), but the menu only shows the options "new", "reply" and "delete". And the former two give the same warning. I deleted a message (that's right, one of the messages I want to keep! :-( ) but still get the same warning. Is there a way to archive my messages? TIA Steven

Even if the 8525 has a WiFi feature, you can't access the internet unless you pay the data package from AT&T. I don't see why a data package is required where in fact AT&T is not providing me any extra service. I pay Charter for my internet cable connection and I am using my own home wireless network. AT&T also failed to post information in ads or inform customer's that this 8525 WiFi feature will only work with a data package. It is a catch that some of my freinds also discovered. SO, unless you are willing to pay a hefty price for the data package with AT&T, don't expect that your smart phone 8525 can access internet even if it is capable.

I purchased the HTC Touch from Telus. BIG PROBLEM with MEMORY LEAK, power/standby key useless, will freeze and have to take out the battery and insert it again, in order to function again.
BUT what really succks the most is that i called HTC and CANNOT do anything, instead they are passing it along Microsoft!! I went to Telus, they replaced it with a new one....and guess what!!! the new one has the same problem!!

I am wondering if anyone here has tried using Skype on a T-Mobile Shadow and was wondering how good the experience is. I am also curious to know if you can use this to call foreign countries from outside the US as well. For example, I'll be travelling at the end of the month to India but will be connecting via. Brussels. I have already checked out the fact that Free Wifi Spots exist in the International Airport in both BOM (Mumbai) and BRU (Brussles) but am now left to wonder about the nature of the experience using Skype over wi-fi on a WM^ smartdevice. Additionally, how much would it cost to do what I'm attempting to do?

I recently received a demo 8525 from Cingular. I suspect that it may be a pre-release version of the 8525. How can I determine this?

This my first smartphone and it is the best phone I have ever had! The fact that it is so user friendly is a big plus for me! The qwerty keyboard is great for texting and emails and the alphanumeric keyboard is great for texting while you are on the move! Personally, HTC made a great phone with the Libra and I am looking forward to the HTC Touch when it is released in Canada!

Camera Picture – When you take a picture, keeping the phone in horizontal position, the resulting image appears rotated. To get the picture like you take it, you need to hold it vertical. This is different from all the other traditional cameras and 6700. I would like the camera to behave like 6700. Any ideas? To exactly see, what Im talking about, please take pictures on 6700 and 6800, you'll notice the difference.

I've been in the market for an HTC S730, but unfortunately the only version currently available is a European version. (Non 3G Comptible in the US). I just found out that there is a US version of the HTC S730 soon to be released .. supposedly the release date is in February '08 but yet to be seen. If anyone out there has any further info, it would be appreciated if you could pass along the details.
