I'm bluetoothing my htc and can receive calls on my automobile radio. I'm trying to blutooth my copilotlive 8 which I installed on my htc. Should that too be possible and allow me to hear the turn by turn spoken directions?

For the declining aristocracy MOTOROLA, any small profit has belongs to rare good. So when the company recently posted surprise third-quarter profits, Motorola stuffs are filled with happy. Namely the MOTOROLA finally successfully achieved the quarter profit. MOTOROLA has revealed the company is expected to launch less mobile phone in the fourth quarter of the year, this basically to get rid of some "cannot profit" failure. So, armed with Cliq, Droid and the MotoBlur interface, it just might be a new day for Motorola.
The Droid phone, codenamed Sholes — named for the inventor of the typewriter — was expected to arrive at Verizon this month, and now has become the focus of attention. Meanwhile T-Mobile is offering Motorola’s CLIQ, an Android-based, MOTOBLUR-running, physical keyboard phone. It is available now for $199 (for current T-Mobile customers). I'd love to have the new WM-6.5 rom on my htc touch hd by dutty's of xda developers but I have absoletely no technical knowledge of how to go about doing all thats required. I reside in Baltimore Maryland (USA) and want to know if theres anyone here that may know of either an individual or a specific company that could perform this download for me (at a cost of course). I can't seem to locate anyone here in baltimore that knows how to do this. So of course I now turn to to my room-mates here at htcpedia for their help.

someone please tell me what is this thing called CMAIL that often shows up when I go to my device, yet when I try deleting the program I get an error message saying unable to delete. Is there a way to permanently delete this thing or is it something thats going to be there. It was'nt there when I first received this unit and booted it up, now all of a sudden here that thing is and I have no idea as to what it is or what it means nor its importance to my device. Talk to me here please, thanks much.

I have the htc touch hd, eventho I purchased this device brand new, I notice it did not come with the google maps nor the JAVA icon in this device, is there a way I can obtain the google maps whereas it will rotate from portrait to landscape, also is there a way I can get this java icon that I see so much on the htc touch hd screens when thet are advertised. I found out through serial number that I have a taiwan unit thats of course in english. I am in the USA (maryland), so if anyone can either advise me or help me in any way possible I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I have the HTC TOUCH HD and I downloaded one of the htc hot fixes for it (response enhancement), it did download and soft re-set itself after download, but my question is where was it placed, I downloaded the hot fix on my storage card, when I went to look in the program files of the storage card, I see nothing yet when I go to settings>uninstall items, I see it there, so its obviously in the system, but where. Generally when I put an item on my storage card I see the program there. however, it must be working since I get no sluggishness in the screen activities, I was just curious and new to all this.

I an seeing many videos of the so-called new and updated TOUCH FLO-3D V-2.6 for the htc devices as an update. Is this new rom an HTC reality or this just a cooked rom thats floating around. This new version 2.6 does look to be a better looking rom and if possible I'd love to have it if its official. Anyone happen to know if HTC has plans to offically release such an updated rom. I have the HTC TOUCH HD.

Hey,

Hi there,
When I am in call with my phone the display shuts down within about 5 seconds. This is a real pain because if I want to access my speakerphone or calendar or check how long I've been in call I have to turn on the dislplay from the power button again. I have tried to see if I can adjust this, but can't seem to find anything. Anyone know how?

I'm due to have my T-Mobile Vario III (HTC TyTN II) upgraded to a T-Mobile Vario IV (HTC Touch PRO).
Is this a massive step up or a sideways move? I'm so pleased with the TyTN II, I'm anxious whether the Touch PRO will perform as well. Any comments greatly appreciated. Many thanks Malcolm

the PDA shop guy install all my ebooks in one neat folder..but when i tried to install others by my self..the icon of that ebook are everywhere in the 'programs' page..the ebooks are installed from PC..automatically sync with PDA..so..i dont have any control in where it goes except to storage card/device.bluetooth folder..i tried to copy past..drag..to the folder that guy created but failed..try to install from the PDA also fail..seems that when transfer the installer to PDA..the installer was converted into something else and not working..

I attemted to unlock and flash a 6800 that I got from my friend and it's completely stuck on a screen with the Chef from the muppets! I can't even power it off without having to remove the battery. Can anyone help me, please!
