- Ross Barkman has a great resource for OSX modem scripts. I was able to take his iPaq script and "tweak" it a bit. It now works at EDGE speeds, and I went ahead and changed the name too. I've added the link, and I'll upload my modified file as soon as I figure out how to upload something.
- The OS X modem settings seem a bit goofy (i.e. they aren't even close to what I had to use with my Nokia). I'm not really sure why things changed, but I played around for an hour before I came up with this. Note that these settings are for T-mobile only!
- Telephone Number: *99#
- Username: guest
- Password: guest
- Mark/Space's MissingSync 3.0 works great! Get it! (I don't work for these guys, but trust me, you'll want it.)

I have also used Mr. Barkman's scripts in the past to use the data connection for my Powerbook. Albeit was with a nokia or motorola phone. What did you have to change in the scripting to make it work? I'm not very good at programming so the "easy" directions would be nice. Thanks.

I just bought a New Smart phone, I live in Japan & since Japanese aren't smart enough to make it
in English even being that it was released in the U.S. years ago. I was wondering where can I find the English software or how can I get it installed. It's the exact same phone as PPC6700, only in Japan it's called X01HT, by SoftBank. The clowns that bought Vodafone & changed the name. If anyone can assist me I would be very greatful.
