TMobile MDA I'm having trouble connecting to the my wifi at home. When I first got the phone it had Windows 5 and had no issues connecting. Now that I have Windows 6 the phone sees it and connects to it for about 2 seconds at most and then disconnects still recognizing its there but not accessible. My wifi connection at home is open and there are no security settings enabled so it has been very easy for anything to connect to it. Can somebody please give me a how to on settings to get wifi connection on my home again. Thanks in advance! Thread location: Discussion Forum

RE: Mda MMS I have my MDA phone unlocked and this is my second attempt to switch phone services.. Does anybody know how to do this. I contacted ATT they got me throught the part where i can call and recieve calls. I contacted HTC with little help and T-mobile said that I can change anything because all my programs are default programs. I cannot get any text or use yahoo IM or send MMS photo texts. its always trying to connect to Tmobile mms. When I go to change the settings the "new" icon is shadowed and will not let me edit or creat a ATT MMS. any ideas? Reply to thread: Mda MMS (11 replies)

Changing language of the MDA Hi,
I have an Vario MDA from T-Mobile Germany. The default language is German.
1. Is it possible to change the language to English?
2. Is it possible to Unlock the SIM? How?
3. Is it possible to download the v2.26.10.2. code and install it on the MDA? How is it going to affect my MDA? Since it is a brand new MDA I do not have anything to lose on the MDA.

RE: MDA use on a Cingular network
"If you get the unlock code from TMO from your MDA, then you can use any compatible SIM (carrier) in the device; all you would need to do is manully enter that carriers data settings into the device. You cannot load a ROM for another device on yours, they are CID locked. If you try to load a Cingular ROM on your device, it wil render your device inoperable."
I have unlocked my MDA and switched to Cingular. Phone, Internet, and Text Messaging work fine, only MMS(Picture messaging) does not work. I have been to the Cingular support website to get the MMS settings for Cingular; however, when I go to Messaging->Menu->Tools->Options->MMS(list selection)->Servers(tab) on my MDA, I am unable to select the "New" button (it is grayed out and unclickable). The "T-Mobile MMS" entry is the only one in the list, which I can not edit.
How do I get the Cingulare MMS settings into my phone?

How do I unlock my MDA to use it in Mexico I bougth the T-mobile MDA "unlocked" but, after sending it to repair the screen it was locked againg. How do I unlock it? The carrier in Mexico is Movistar. Thread location: Wizard (T-Mobile MDA)

moving contacts from MDA to DASH hello, i have an MDA which i sync with a windows computer, the MDA is not working properly so i've got a DASH from a friend, when i try to sync the DASH using the installed sync softwaref rom the MDA it nothing will happen. any suggestions on how to transfer my contacts from the computer or the MDA to the DASH. thanks Thread location: T-Mobile Dash

Connect internet on my MDA using internet on a PC Hey guys,

I bought this cool new MDA last week and now have started using it.

I have a beginer's question...

I have internet on my PC/Laptop using LAN or wifi or dial up and I want same to reflect in my MDA if I connect my PC to it using USB, Bluetooth or IR... Is it possible?? If yes, then how?? I tried connecting it using bluetooth, but was unable to do so as it says you need to have a dial-in number...

Any inputs will be appreciated.

Switching Tmobile MDA to ATT service. i can switch fine and get text messages and phone cals. what I cant get is pics text and yahoo instant messaging. I contacted ATT, Tmobile and HTC. They are attempting to change my TMobile MMS configuration but when I get to the settings to create a new one or edit the tmobille mms settings it will not let me and the "new" selection to create a new one is shadowed or subdued. How do I create a new MMS contact for ATT so I can send pics as well as use Yahoo.. The error i get is saying that it is trying to connect to the Tmobile MMS.. but I have the ATT sims card in my phone. Oh by the way, I have the Tmobile MDA.. Pls rescue for my mobile ( T-Mobile MDA ) My T-Mobile MDA gets stuck at the startup operator logo BOOTLOADER and I FLASHED IT WITH The Original Rom AND but its still the same....
NOW IM TRYING TO FORMAT IT WITH A HARD RESET BY PRESSING THE SEND BUTTON ,,BUT IT SAYS "FORMAT FAIL"
