Battery performance depends on many factors, including network configuration, signal strength, the features and/or settings you select and use, items attached to your phone’s connecting ports, and your voice, data, and other program usage patterns.
Battery life estimates (approximations):
• Standby time: Up to 375 hours
• Talk time (voice and data calls): Up to 250 minutes Here are several steps to optimize battery power;
- Lower the Power Settings: Go to Start > Settings > Power > Backlight > reduce the settings for Backlight and Display.
- Shut down unused applications: Go to Start > Programs > Comm Manager and select Off for items that are not in use.
- Lower the size of incoming E-Mails and attachments: Go to Start > Programs > ActiveSync > Menu > Configure Server > Next > Next > Highlight E-Mail and select Menu > Settings > Change the download to the smallest size (2 KB) and the past to least amount of time (3 days).
- Use task Manager to End running programs: Select the Quick Menu icon (located on the top right) > Select Stop all currently running programs icon. See the images below and follow the red circles.
Note: You can also close programs by going to
Start >
Settings >
System >
Task Manager >
Stop All.
If you do not see an improvement in the Battery Life after implementing the above suggestions, try a different battery in the device. If the issue returns, the unit can then be considered for a Warranty Exchange as long as there is no physical or liquid damage.
