hi guys, wonder if anyone can help . my Touch HD hard sets itself without any prompt from me..
it's only a few months old ..
cos i work nights the phone is on most of the time, so at least once every 3 or 4 days i switch the phone of for at least 5 minutes, when it is switched back on, some times i am confronted with the initial screen setup ...all the phone data gone.
it has also done it if i have just had to turn the phone off for security reason's any idea's

If your Touch HD isnt network branded, you should be able to use this one: http://www.htc.com/uk/SupportDownload.aspx?p_id=179&cat=2&dl_id=533
If that doesnt work, call the HTC support - they can book the device in for repair for you :) If you dont want to call the expensive 0845-number, you can find the direct phone numbers here: http://htcrom.com/direct_phone_numbers_htc_support
