So I got the touch pro and was excited about it but all I have had are troubles... Mines been super slow at times, horrible battery, sometimes the screen won't turn on when it's sleepin, but all other lights come on, had a time when I turned the phone on and the touchflo didn't start up and had to turn phone back off and on to get it to work... Anybody else havin this many problems or do I have a defective phone? I really like everything about it, but just don't want to have all these problems the entire time I have it (have only had it for a little over a week).

I am haing problems configuring my mail on the Touch Pro for Yahoo. It auto detects the settings but sets it as IMAP4 when it is supposed to be POP3, it doesn't give me the option to unclick auto detect settings, like the older versions did, thus, I cannot configure my phone with email? Is there a work around (besides getting mail through web browser) or a fix to download that anyone is aware of?

I have had my HTC Touch Pro for abt 3 weeks now. The QWERTY keyboard does not always work? I can get it to work, but it should not be this way? There seems to be A LOT of the same problems from people all over the world, the QWERTY keyboard either fails all together, or works sporadically?
I have talked to a HTC tech about my problem, he will not confirm or deny there is a problem with the Touch Pro QWERTY keyboard? But to send it in and they can fix the problem? I have a RMA and address to send it in, before the warranty expires, but I wanted to try this HTC site to see if anyone else has the same problem, and found a fix, without sending the unit in?????? Hard and soft reset does not work? When sliding out the keyboard, and it is unresponsive, but the screen is on, pushing the power button off then on, seems to activate the QWERTY keyboard every time. This DOES NOT SEEM NORMAL????? Thanks for any help...

ok so i bought this phone from a friend and it had already been flashed to cricket so i turned it on and the internet doesnt work but i am paying 5 bucks extra monthly for internet anyone know a way to fix the internet problem?

currenty i have a problem with my phone, i only bought it because it was a computer. i never even used the phone feature. any way, i updated the rom from verizon and 15 minutes after, the screen went black.... it connects via activesync still but thats all i can do besides insert in and remove files htc cant help me they made it perfectly clear, he had me hard reset and it did but still a black screen. please someone help verizon wont help me because im not using their services anymore . like i said its a computer i just connect wirelessly when im working because i set it up as a mobile hub. i own a mobile detailing business so im conducting business on it all day long. its basically the brains of my business, i do all my banking, shopping, shipping everything on it. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! any replies can be sent either here or to freshwhips@yahoo.com... thank you

When I try to change my QWERTY input from compact to full while the phone is closed, the setting is still set to COMPACT (it doesn't work with any of the other inputs I try to change it to either, not just full). Is there anyway I can change this?

I can not unlock My Phone!! I Bought the phone on ebay and called carrier to make sure it is not stolen and it all checked fine so I get it and the unlock screen is coming up!! is there a unlock code for this?? Please Help!!.... Thank You!!!

Hi there I just bought a Touch Pro and when I turn it on it has a message on screen 'smart mobility test only not for sale ' then it proceeds to the Windown Mobile ver 6.1 screen adn then to the standar windows screen with Day and Time, Getting Started, Owner Details, Messages, Tasks, Appointments and Live Search. I have done a reset but still dont get any Touch Flo Home Screen at all.
Can anyone assist me here? Thanks heaps |

Hi!
I was just wondering if i'm the only one to have this problem: Since January 1st, when I receive a text message, it displays the date instead of the hour it got in, so I never know when I got the message. The problem is since the New Year... Thanks

Installed Windows 7 Ultimate x64. Then installed Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1. Sync'd my HTC Touch Pro (Sprint) and saved all my contacts, email, files, etc with no issues. I then updated my phone to the latest ROM 2.01.651.6. During the setup process using WMDC I was able to check or sync the mobile favorites and files ONLY. Then reverted back by installing an older ROM version and even did a few Hard Resets. No matter what ROM version I use now, I can only sync the favorites and files (nothing else). Why can't I choose the sync contacts and mail options?
Please help? Thank you.

I've had my phone since August 2009.
2 weeks ago, my text messages just stopped working out of no where. When I try to send text messages, it says "Your text message cannot be sent." Also, when I try to connect my Touch Pro with the computer, it does not detect it. I've tried everything, but no help/solution at all. Please help ASAP.

Hey there,
I just got my HTC TP replaced (keyboard issues), and now I need to transfer my contacts over. What's the easiest/most thorough way to do that? I have ActiveSync hooked up, but when I look in Outlook for my contacts, there's nothing there!

I was sitting in my car, with my phone in my lap. I got out of my car and dropped my phone (all of 3 ft). Since then, my phone will spaz out on me!
When its closed (keyboard in), it will display the open (keyboard out) screen. I've done numerous soft resets and taken out the battery. Then sometimes when I'm not even doing anything, it'll spaz on me. Thoughts?

tenho um htc touch pro que comprei fora do brasil, depois de um ano ele veio apresentar problemas... tipow botao sem contacto , jogo no teclado qwerty e tbem o altofalante externo parou... entrei em contato com a assistencia da htc aqui no brasil e eles não conseguem resolver meu problema.. bom aparelho htc aqui no brasil e igual aparelho da china... quebrou joga fora... |

Ok, so I know how to lock the phone like this:
Start>Settings>Personal Tab>Lock I have it set so that it requires a password. However, I just did that exact combo, then pressed "Unlock". It unlocked without the password. That's not really the point here, though. The point is... is there an easier way to lock my phone, and perhaps in a more secure way? Thanks |
