Can someone tell me why I cannot connect my phone to GPS? Alltel says it is GPS ready, just needs a program. I have literally tried half a dozen programs, and none of them recognize GPS capabilities. help!

Don't know if anyone else has this problem but when my phone is on standby conserve mode, I won't get any incoming texts or calls. I have to press the on button to reactivate the screen and then I get notification of all the texts missed and a 1/2 ring and then it will say how many missed calls. Is there a bug fix for this?

Why Are NOT These Issues Fixed On Such An Expensive Device. Why didn't HTC include these in their latest device.
I know I asked for 5 but since I created this I can put more… 1) BT not working 2) Pull out Keyboard NOT functioning on some programs 3) Better display, come on it 2007 QVGA 4) What is with the Square Sharp corners? It feels terrible in your Hands. 5) Why such a SMALL amount of MEMORY 6) Why do the software “new” Software Upgrade corrupt the Phone – from your site. 7) Why are the ringers such LOW VOLUME 8) Why don’t we have GPS enabled? 9) Why doesn’t the Mogul have the FASTER PROCESSOR? 10) Why is the Headset Plug on top where is should be. 11) Why is the Stylus on the lower side on the unit where it hard to use. 12) Why can’t the Mogul have the same interface at the Kaiser or Touch. All three are new all made by you. 13) Why not EVDO rev-A? This device has so many issues and things that SHOULD have been included with the price we paid. I can’t recommend this device to anyone. Its not ready for Prime Time

Does anyone have a clue how to resolve ActiveSync connection issues between windows XP sp2 and this phone. When I first installed ActiveSync, the sync process went off without a hitch. After that, no joy! The troubleshooting guide is totally useless. There are no useful error messages. I have no enabled firewall software on the computer. I'm out of options.

i have the htc 6800 by alltel - it goes into "hybernation mode" where i don't get any of my "rings/signals" so alltel has replaced it with another one - i've been trying to backup my old one with all of my contacts (400+) so i can transfer them over to the new phone Alltel just sent me BUT i'm having problems getting them to show on my PC - i have no clue what i'm doing wrong - this is all new to me so i'm really not up on all this technology - can anyone help me with walk through instructions on how to get my contacts listed on outlook so i can then put them on the new 6800 they've sent me? - any help you are able to offer would be so greatly appreciated

Alltel sold me this phone claiming it was there first smartphone with FINALLY the ability to send and receive picture and video mail! Come to find out NOTHING worked. But a few weeks later the picture mail started working. NO VIDEO mail yet though. They just keep blaming HTC saying to keep checking there website for an update....am I going to see this update sometime soon? Or will I keep throwing money to alltel for services I am not getting?

When I download a java application (like Gmail), and I try to enter information at the bottom of a page, like "ok" after I enter my user name and password, I cannot see the "OK." Moving from portrait to landscape, I can see it for a second, but the windows bar at the bottom covers the bottom line of the java screen. Any advice???

Reading the posts available, it appears my choppy bluetooth connection problem is fixed in the 11/29 Sprint ROM release. Worse yet for me, the phone hangs after using bluetooth for a short while and requires a reboot. Phone is rock solid if I don't use bluetooth. This may be due to memory leaks that have been fixed in later ROM updates. There is no ROM update posted for Qwest users. I worked with Qwest support and HTC support but neither could resolve my issues after trying various things. I need Qwest users to make some noise so they will start listening and port the Sprint ROM update into the Qwest Moguls.

Hi everyone. I just updated to the new 2.17 rom and now my youtube won't play. when I updated it erased everything of course but I saved it all on my comp. so I reinstalled the tcpmp player and media bundle. but it won't work now. It did before I updated. does anyone know if I need a new media bundle or player now? Any info would be a big help Thank you

I have had my 6800 for about 2 months now and I am on my second Unit and i am getting ready to return this one. The is a bright spot on the screen it is about a 1/8 in circle. It is on the left side of the unit about 1/2 inch from the bottom and 1/2 inch from the left side. As I said this is my second Unit and the spot was in the same place on the first one. In each case the unit started of fine and the spot came on about 2 weeks in and grew in intensity.
Has anyone else ad a similar problem. Thanks Philip

I do not have a data service package (I use Qwest) and anywhere I use the phone I am lucky enough to have WiFi (work, home, etc). My email and webservices work fine on the phone...but when I attempt to connect to MSN messenger it repeatedly tries to dial out to 777*. After a while..the messenger works but shows everyone as 'offline'.
Is there a way to get MSN messenger to ONLY look at wifi to connect and not to call upon data services? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Previously, I had a Sprint 6600 and Voice Command. They worked great together. I recently purchased the Mogul (6800) and cannot successfully install Voice Command. I get a message during the install that it will install to " " and asks if I want to continue. If I choose No, the installation stops. If I choose Yes, the installation finishes and claims to be a successful installation, but I get an error message when trying to run the software that it has encountered a problem and says to restart and try again. I have applied the most recent ROM update available (Nov 2007). The Voice Speed Dial software that comes with the device is not acceptable - it is not realistic to record tags for all of my contacts, software, etc. Someone please fix this or I am going to return the phone before my 30 days are up.

I just downloaded the new ROM and i'm trying to resore my contacts onto my phone. i have all the other items restored (tasks, notes, calendar) but i cannot figure out how to get the contacts restored. I can see them in my Outlook but can't get them on my mogul. PLEASE HELP, I've got way too many contact to do this manualy

We just received 25 titan phones from Alltel and my first user deleted the contacts program on the phone such that when you touch contacts on the main screen, nothing happens. He is the CEO for our hospital and needs this - where do I go to get this program and reinstall it??

have a mogul.Just set it up for email 2 days ago. emails prior to midnight are gone each morning from my inbox. is there a setting i must change. took it back to the sprint store they look at me like I am crazy.
