My friends and family are signing up for Google Voice accounts. Google Voice allows users to pick a phone number by words that make up the phone number (Vanity numbers). For example (234) ED-SMITH would be (234) 337-6484. I realize that I could type the number into my Contacts list once and forget about it. However, to help me remember what the number spells out, I would like to store the number as the alpha characters in the Contacts list. I can do that, but when I go to dial that number, the alphabetic characters do not dial and I get an error message from the operator. Is there a fix or a hack to allow dialing from the contacts list using alpha characters in the telephone fields?

For some reason my battery wont charge up anymore.I let it go all the way dead on accident and when i try to charge it the orange light comes on and it says that it is charging but when i take it off the charger it still says 0% What should I do?

The phone has an annoying habit of making calls when slightly pressed, even in the case provided. Does anyone know how to disable the outside phone buttons on the Mogul?

My wifi switch is having problems. The on position doesn't turn it on. i have to kind of hold it in the middle and press down the whole time while using my other hand for surfing. Is there a way to disable the physical switch and only turn it on via the wifi connections?! thanks for the help

Has anyone else's experience with the 8125 been that it is an overpriced, hard to use piece of junk? I've had the 2nd one since January, it took Cingular 3 months to decide to replace it. The new one needed the screen aligned all the time. This caused a huge dent in the middle of the screen so, now it has a huge dead spot. I can't align the screen anymore. I finally learned HTC made the 8125 and called them today hoping maybe they took some pride in their products. HTC's best guess is the screen will cost $170 to replace in a unit that has problems. I can buy a phone for $170. I tried to talk to a supervisor, but wasn't even offered a call back when they were all in meetings. It's possible I just got 2 bad units in row, but I don't want to spend more to find out. The 8125 should be used for years in a business but it is in my experience a 9 month unit. Cheap cell phones perform better than that. My advise to anyone asking would be to stay clear of the 8125 and HTC because it's overpriced and badly made and no one there seems to care. Does anyone in management at HTC care to change my mind? My name is Brad Burge and my phone number is 304-489-9268. This is a land line since the 8125 is out of service until I send it back.

Getting a white pixel burn on the lower left hand side of my mogul after 2 and 1/2 weeks. Right now it is somewhat faint, but still easily noticeable under white or light colors. I've seen other forums where this problem seems to be inherent. Does anyone else have experience with this? I've read that it will get worse and effect darker colors, as well as getting it replaced numerous times does not solve the problem. Any suggestions...or am I doomed to go through a cycle of replacements?

hello, I really like my new HTC Mogul phone. I have read all the comments and made my purchase last week. The program that I am having is the battery life. I battery dies after about 6 hours of use. I just got the phone two days and everything else works great. Can anyone make any suggestions on what i can do to save bettery life? I have been cutting off the bluetooth and finding that i get a little more battery life but not much. someone please help!

I love my Mogul. However, I am not able to maintain a blue tooth connection to my ear piece. It will pair and work fine initially, but within a few minutes, the connection is lost, even if I am holding the phone. I have several blue tooth devices, and they all suffer from the same problem. I did not have this problem with my LG or Motorola. Any help?

I host a blog / podcast on Wordpress, powered by podpress. The RSS feed comes from Libsyn. When I view my site on my HTC Mogul, and press "play" on the player, nothing happens. My only option is to download the audio, which takes way too long. Are there any options?
