Below is a list of Good To Knows for the HTC Fuze for AT&T. Have a look and get familiar with your device!

| Device vibrates when a call connects. | The device will vibrate when it connects to a call, either inbound or outbound. | As a default, the device is set to quickly vibrate when you connect to a call, either inbound or outbound. This setting can be changed by going to Phone>Menu>Options>Advanced Tab. |
| Today screen may not have TouchFlo 3D enabled. | Some devices use the standard Windows Mobile Today screen rather than the TouchFlo 3D. NOTE: Phones as of late Nov 2008 have TouchFlo 3D enabled. | TouchFlo 3D may have been disabled. Re-enable by going to Go to Start>Settings>Today>Items tab and select TouchFlo 3D from the items list. |
| Device automatically switches itself from ring to vibrate. | Device automatically switches itself from ring to vibrate. | The Sound Automatic has been enabled on the device. To disable, slide to the Settings tab on the Today screen. Select Sounds and select something other than Automatic. |
| Unable to tether device to a PC. | Customer is unable to use the device as a wireless modem; when trying to connect, the user gets “Remote Party has ended the connection” | A Laptop Connect plan is required in order to use the device as a wireless modem. |
| MP3 or similar audio file is not available in the drop down list under Sounds & Notifications. | The audio file has been loaded on the device but is not available for selection under Sounds & Notifications. | The Fuze has a file size limit for ringtones as specified by AT&T; the limit is 600k (although I have seen this will files in the 500k range). Any audio file larger than that will not be available for selection under Sounds & Notifications. To use your file as a ringtone, locate the file using File Explorer, tap and hold on the file name and select "Set as ringtone" from the pop-up menu. |
| Windows Media Player Music Playback stops when the device is put in hibernate mode. | If the user manually presses the Power Button once to put the device in hibernate mode, Windows Media Player music playback will stop. | This is by design to allow the user to quickly stop the playback. A workaround for this is to let the device go into hibernate on it’s own; the music will continue to play. |
| Unable to manipulate playlists on the device. | The user has loaded a play list on their device and does not have the option to edit it. | This function is not supported on this model. |
| Device asking for a license to playback content loaded on the device from a subscription (ie Napster, etc.) | User has synced media content received from a subscription service to their device. They then change the date on the device to a future date and then they attempt to playback they music they have loaded, they are asked for a License. | If the end user loads music onto their phone from their PC and the content was purchased from Napster or other music service, AND the user accidentally changes the clock forward to some date in the future past the expiration of the content, AND they then set the clock back, the end user would not be able to play their music. They will need to Hard Reset their device and reload the content. |

The files are encoded with AAC for the audio and work correctly with players such as VSC and Apple quick time (older versions). |

Please switch your phone to Landscape mode or touch the screen to Exit”. | Error is seen when a game that requires Landscape mode is launched (examples: Brain Challenge, Bubble Bash, Mobile Banking, etc.) | This device doesn’t have an option to manually switch the screen to landscape mode and the built in G-sensor is not utilized by some games. i have accidentally set a picture as my Today home screen. and it will not go away or change pictures. I dont know what to do. i"ve tried changing it by going to Settings, Today and browsing for a new picture but nothing happens. Id like it to go back to the original grey att screen. Please help! thank you.

I have lost the black trap on the back of the screen when it slides up that covers the flex ribbon and i believe it had springs attached to it. phone slides and works fine but i cannot find the part anywhere online and do not know what it is...can anybody tell me what the part is and if it is vital to the phone???? also, where i might be able to find another one and if it can be repaired???/

HEY IM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO SET A CUSTOME TONE FOR THE KEYBAROD ON MY HTC FUZE, THOSE STOCK TONES FOR EVERYTIME U OPEN THE PHONE TO THE KEY BOARD GET REALLY ANNOYING. CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM.
