The SDA has the ability to synchronize information wirelessly with a Microsoft Exchange Server. Follow these steps to set up direct synchronization of your contacts, calendar appointments, tasks, and most importantly, email.

  1. On the SDA, go to Start > ActiveSync
  2. Select the link in the middle of the page OR Menu > Add Server Source
  3. Enter your Server address and select Next
    1. If required, check the SSL connection box
  4. Enter your User name, Password and Domain and select Next
    1. Check the Save password box to avoid having to re-enter it
  5. Choose the data to synchronize and select Finish

Note: Calendar and E-mail synchronization can be tuned to suit your needs. To adjust the default settings follow these steps:

  1. Highlight Calendar and select Menu > Settings
  2. Adjust the amount of past calendar appointments to synchronize
  3. Select Done
  4. Highlight E-mail and select Menu > Settings
  5. Adjust the amount of e-mail to synchronize
  6. Adjust the size of the e-mail message to synchronize
  7. Select Done
