Downloading Attachments on my MDA

The MDA is capable of receiving and opening e-mail attachments. By default, a send/receive on the device will not download the attachment. E-mail attachments must be downloaded separately from the actual message.


1. Browse to and open the e-mail that contains the attachment

• The attachment will have a generic blank icon next to the file name.

2. With the stylus, tap the attachment file name

• A message saying the message will be downloaded on the next send/receive will appear under the file name.

3. Tap Menu, and select Send/Receive

• During this process you may notice that there are arrows moving around the GPRS icon at the top of the screen

4. When the send/receive is complete, the icon next to the file will change according to the file extension. Select the attachment again to open it using the appropriate viewer.
