I stream music to by bluetooth stereo headset but it comes across mono. I know the particular station I'm streaming is stereo (192kb).
Any suggestions as to a fix or what I'm doing wrong? Thanks. |

Has anyone been able to sync their 8525 via bluetooth? I have been on the phone repeatedly with Cingular, Dell and HTC tech support over and over again to no avail. I am running the latest ROM upgrade from the HTC site and I have ActiveSync 4.5 loaded on a brand new Dell Latitude D420 running XP Pro (SP2) and Office 2007. I can pair the phone and laptop but that's the end of it. In the settings window after pairing the devices all that shows up as service options are "Serial Port" and "Wireless Stereo" and it seems to me that I ought to be seeing "ActiveSync" here as well. The COM ports on both devices match (I could only get the the phone to accept COM9 and then went into my com port manager on the Dell and created a COM port for a client in the #9 slot). Then back on the phone on the ActiveSync page I'll select "Connect via Bluetooth" over and over and always get the same "Cannot find an existing Bluetooth partnership with a PC that supports Activesync. Would you like to set up a partnership now?" error each time. I can connect the phone and laptop vie BlueTooth to connect to the web and to connect to my headset but just not to sync the two. I can sync with the USB cable but when I'm on the road it would really be nice to not have to deal with the cables and this was a major reason for getting this device. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I just updated the ROM of my 8525 to WM6 and I am trying to pair my device with my laptop, but I can't because there is no "New Outgoing Port" option under the Bluetooth COM Ports tab. Seems something is missing. I had the phone connected via both versions of WM5 that were available for the phone prior. Any idea on how to fix this issue?
