I "upgraded" from Office 2000 to 2007, and immediately could no longer sync Outlook. the Troubleshooter told me that I needed to have Outlook 2000 or later installed. Stupid thing doesn't recognize 2007.

Stupid thing doesn't recognize 2007." The built-in troubleshooting utility is indeed utterly useless for a whole range of problems, amongst them is when the Partnership Wizard does not launch. It provides nothing at all in the way of an explanation except for saying that MS Outlook 2007 should be installed, when it already is. Again "bravo" to MS.
