Hi,
This is my first post after signing up so hopefully I wont break any conventions. I have an issue with using Activesync with my HTC Touch Diamond. Basically it will sync the basic contact details but will not capture any of the spouse/children/ comments etc details. Does anyone have any ideas where this is by design, whether I've not configured something properly or whether it's a fault? From what I've read, Activesync should take all contact data. I'm using Activesync 4.5 by the way. Thanks in advance, Andrew G.

I've not actually used activeSync to sync my contacts or my calendar appointments yet. I want to figure out how to perform 1 way sync. Meaning, TouchPro2 overwrites PC. or PC overwrites TouchPro2. Something that I really REALLY want is this. I've got outlook at work with "business" appointment. My phone is all my "personal" appointments. I dont want active sync to take my personal appointment and put it on my PC. Rather. I want activesync to take a specific range or calendar appointments onto the TP2 while leaving the existing personal appointments alone. Ive searched as best I could find through active sync setting, but I've found nothing.
Help

I have HTC Touch2 and am trying to sync calendar info from my PC to my mobile. My PC runs WinXP SP3 and I have ActiveSync 4.5 installed and running on the PC.
When I create a whole-day appt on the PC and try to sync it to my mobile, the square indicator on the monthly view (on the mobile) does NOT appear. The data gets transferred though, as I can see it on the weekly, daily and agenda views on the mobile. Only in the monthly view is the whole-day appt indicator not visible. FYI the monthly view is my preferred default view as it shows all activities for the current month at a glance. With this problem, I am unable to identify the whole-day appts in monthly view, unless I remember which day has whole-day appt, and tap on it to drill down to weekly/daily view.. When I create a whole-day appt on the mobile, the square indicator appears on the mobile correctly. After syncing it with the PC, it appears on the PC also. Hence it works one way ie mobile -> PC, but not the other way ie PC -> mobile. FYI I did not have this issue with my previous Nokia 6300. HTC Tech Support says it is a limitation in Touch2. Any suggestions to resolve this problem? Thank you.
