8525 rom update response

I got it also after the update, but it was only the fact that the KEYBOARD had defaulted down to a SMALL keyboard, instead of the LARGE keybaord.

and you @ will reappear

You would need the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for your device. Are you using an 8525 in Brazil?

Keyboard issue after latest ROM update

It should resolve any problems after you hard reset your phone and walk step by step without skiping anything to set it back up. It should install all required CAB packages that came with an update. It did work for me

Changing [HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\Qwerty]
"Layout"=263177 (decimal) (originally 132105) and soft-resetting fixed it for me.

If you upgraded to WM6 Do a Regedit and then a soft reset.
[HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\Qwerty]

Try a hard reset after you update the ROM and let me know if that corrects the keyboard mapping.
