Cool sites for Pocket PC Users!
Sep 5 2007, 1:05 AM EDT My favorite freeware site hands up for free software would have to be www.freewareppc.com Check it out and let me know what you think. One of my favorite apps for the pocket pc sported on this page would have to be "Pocket Cm" This is a contact manager which gives you the iphone feel to it, only it looks a lot better and has a cooler style to it - I have this currently insalled on my Verizon XV6700 pocket pc phone (also known as the Apache or UT sctarcom 6700)http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/pocketcm.shtml - Let me know what you think about this as well. Feel free to contribute to the programmer if you would like. The software is free and in my opinion, Microsoft should make something similar to it standard on all their Windows mobile devices (we have to constantly keep up with the times, do we not?) (although the HTC Touch does offer there version of it "touch flo" check out a video of it here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=Gj8PMcvYTZo Another App which compliments the Pocket Cm contacts manager app is "Pocket Cm Keyboard" also found on freewareppc.com it's a little small and cramped but excellent for those one handed quick text messges that are too difficult using Microsofts small default keyboard.
