Hi ima htctouch pro. I have had for several months but have never been able to lauch the qucik gps program. it has now expired. do you use this and also do you know how i go about having it on my phone so i can use as a gps. is there a cost associated with this? i am not a pro at this just learning little by little

sometimes service providers charge you when you use there gps software (like say telus navigator) but if you use google maps or other software they will not charge you, gps is essentially free to access

I just saw your thread. I hope you have solved your problem by now, but if not, you should be able to find QuickGPS by going to Start>Programs>QuickGPS. When you tap the QuickGPS icon it will load the program. Make sure you are connected to the internet by either 3G or preferably WiFi before you tap "download". If you are on WiFi the download is free. If you are on 3G (or other data connection) you should have a data plan or it gets expensive to download the data. This is especially true if you are using Google Maps. That program loads the maps segmentally as you use them, so if you don't have an unlimited data plan it gets pricey.
