having problems with my htc tytn2 as i installed a version of TOMTOM satnav that didnt read the maps no matter wot i tried, so i uninstalled or deleted files, hav deleted shortcuts to the program too, but my htc like to keep trying to run the exe for this tomtom program that allows it to connect to my gps, due to me deleting all files it brings up a notification error telling me it could not find the program to run it, do you have any idea how to stop making it do this autorun or remove the program completely which i obviously did not do?! it is very annoying as every time i switch the screen back on the notification is there :S

i would be greatfull for any ideas! thankyou!

OK, when you attempted to remove TomTom from the device, how did you go about it? You should have gone to Start>Settings>System Tab>remove Programs and removed it there to ensure that it was properly un-installed. This will remove all of the application components and do a clean un-install. If you go to Remove Programs now and the TomTom is no longer listed there, then you will actually have to do a Hard Reset (which deleted everything from your device and only reloads the default apps and settings) to get the remaining components to be removed. That is unless of course you have the names of all of the components for this application and then in that case, you could go through the tedious task of searching for and deleting each individual file.
